PHD Bahamas have completed the installation of its second hoist at One Ocean on Paradise Island. Eddie Donaghy re-established links with the team at Replay Resorts to provide high level access to extend up this classic property with its most stunning views over the Ocean Club Estates and the Atlantic ocean. “The view from the top was spectacular! The estate is ideally situated on Nassau Harbour, Bahamas, between Atlantis, Ocean Club, and One&Only Resort. Nassau's rising sweet spot, One Ocean is the tallest residential building on Paradise Island. Replay Resorts was fortunate to acquire One Ocean under strategic conditions that have allowed them to sell

these brand-new residences at prices that are favourable to consumers. They've completely transformed the building from head to foot, inside and out, reinventing it with a dramatic new roof, stunning pool deck, and upscale interiors. Works involved providing a cantilever work platform sprung out from the 13th floor about the perimeter, to allow builders to extend the building height for panoramic penthouse views of the ocean. One of the big issues facing the build team was vertical transportation which proved a problem given the extensive nature of the works and the building being occupied. This premier addresses and its residents wanted minimum disruption. In order to reduce contractors using the public areas, PHD provided 2 new hoists: 1 x 2000Kg passenger & goods hoist and 1 x 1000Kg goods platform hoist.
